The BSI-Auto software application assists the service centre team in workshop loading, vehicle tracking and managing of the customers vehicle and it’s progress through the service process. The service centre team, will at any point in time via the BSI-Auto system know where the customers vehicle is in the service process, what is currently being done on the vehicle, who is working on the vehicle and how long they have been working on the vehicle. This also allows the service manager and service advisors to have total visibility of the service centre.
The workshop-loading feature assists the foreman or service manager in planning the service day. The manager has the ability to see all vehicles, priority, promise to deliver times and jobs for the day. The manager can view all the technicians and their work load and planning. The manager is able to distribute the jobs/electronic jobcards to the different technicians as per their skill set and availability.
The BSI-Auto software has a complete time and attendance system that includes a comprehensive workshop jobcard clocking feature. The system includes real-time management reporting on jobcard or technician productivity and efficiency. The system offers the dealership a complete paperless jobcard process, whereby the entire service department can work off an electronic jobcard.
The parts application inter-links with the vehicle tracking system to track and manage the parts on order against a particular jobcard until it arrives at the dealership. The system flags the parts manager, as well as the technician, that the part on order has arrived. This includes tracking of back order parts and pre-order of parts until the part has been either fitted or returned to the manufacturer. The system is primarily aimed at part sales by improving supply to fitment ratio and also the reduction of dead stock on not fitted parts.
